In the coming year, 2023, the opening times for the public of the Municipal Museum spaces will undergo changes:

River Museum – Open from Tuesday to Saturday, except public holidays

Winter (October 1st to April 30th): 9:00 am – 1:00 pm | 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Summer (May 1st to September 30th): 10:00 am – 1:00 pm | 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Religious Art Museum – Open from Monday to Friday, except public holidays

08:00 – 14:00

Alcoutim Castle (Núcleo Museológico de Arqueologia) – Open from Tuesday to Sunday

Winter (October 1st to April 30th): 9:00 am – 1:00 pm | 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Summer (May 1st to September 30th): 10:00 am – 1:00 pm | 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Dr. João Dias Museum – Conditional access

Guided visits from the Religious Art Museum

Casa do Ferreiro – Open from Monday to Friday, except public holidays

Primary School – closed for maintenance

Temporary exhibition room – Open from Monday to Friday, except public holidays

Access tariffs are also updated:

Regular ticket – €2.90
Youth ticket (youth card holders) – €1.80
Senior ticket (age ≥ 65) – €1.80
Group ticket (each visitor) – €1.80

Tickets allow you to visit all the exhibition centers of the Municipal Museum of Alcoutim, for a week, with the exception of the group ticket.

 

In the year 2023, the Municipal Museum will officially close on:

December, 24th, 25th and 31st
