ACCESSIBILITY

Alcoutim Municipal Museum designed and implemented its website in conformity with Resolution of the Council of Ministers no. 97/99 on the accessibility of public administration websites for citizens with special needs.

Alcoutim Municipal Museum provides free admission to persons with a disability or reduced mobility, with a degree of incapacity of 50% or more certified by an official document, and permits access with guide dogs.

There are limitations at the River Museum, the Religious Art Museum Centre, Alcoutim Castle, where the Archaeology Museum Centre is located, and the Lavajo Menhirs, Montinho das Laranjeiras Ruins and Old Castle of Alcoutim archaeological sites in terms of accessibility by persons with reduced mobility.
