The implementation of socio-educational services is the responsibility of Alcoutim Municipal Museum, and the main objective is to outline an intervention strategy with a target group and an annual plan of activities.

In the ten-year period 2016/2026, the aim is to implement the programme Somos Memória! (We are memory). This programme will include: the implementation and continuation of guided tours and semi-guided visits; activities with the educational resource kit “Timeless Games”; the implementation of the project “Cultural Contraband” and activities involving the sharing of experiences and expertise and the reviving of memories; and training activities for those involved in the socio-educational process.
