Exhibition “Carob: memory(ies) of a life”
Photography exhibition by Luísa Melão
Venda de Alcoutim, on Av.ª Duarte Pacheco, in Alcoutim, hosts, from January 24th to March 22nd, the photography exhibition by Luísa Melão, entitled “Carob: memory(s) of a life”.
The exhibition presents a set of photographs that are the result of one of many possible perspectives; It is a record, a moment that can – and should – be understood under different and new destinies.
We invite you to participate in this journey and discover/feel for
beyond each photograph, from the artistic ‘filter’, passing through the industrial vision, to the product – the carob – that gives life and sustains the mechanics of this space and that begins on EARTH, but always with the involvement of MAN and its action on the ENVIRONMENT that surrounds it.
This exhibition was organized by the Municipality of Faro – Algarve Regional Museum, Algarve Region Coordination Committee, Chorondo & Filhos, Lda. and with the support of Carob World.
